Kettlebell Classes:

What Is The Difference Between Dumbbells and Kettlebells?

Well you will find that there are two specific things that set kettlebells apart from both dumbbells and specifically other pieces of traditional strength training equipment.

Firstly: The kettlebell has a unique shape which is very important, as kettlebells consist of a weighted ball and the base with a D shaped handle attached to the top. So unlike a dumbbell where the weight is equal each side of the handle or bar, the kettlebell creates an uneven weight distribution which is more difficult to control. In words the bell weighs more than the handle so during exercises the bell moves independently from the handle.

Secondly: The overall shape of the kettlebell enables the possibility to push, pull or even swing the weight allowing greater control and a more intense demanding routine for bodily exercise.
